Anjuli Velazquez is a senior at the University of Central Florida, who will be graduating this May 2010.  She is an Interdisciplinary Studies major, concentrating on Arts and Behavioral & Social Sciences, with a minor in Women’s Studies.  Anjuli is finishing her Bachelor’s degree online as she moved back home to Atlanta in December 2008, pregnant with her son when his father and she split.  Feminism is important to Anjuli because it’s the belief in the equality of men and women.  She wants to show the world that yes, she is a single mom who can still accomplish every goal and dream that she has, just with a baby on her hip!
